Bridging the digital divide: together we can!
The ENTELIS network is a network of members of the European Association of Service Providers for Persons with Disabilities (EASPD) and of the Association for the Advancement of Assistive Technology in Europe (AAATE).
It aims to contribute to the digital inclusion of all. In particular of those that experience disabling barriers in accessing digital environments. Barriers are due to their non-inclusive design, lack of appropriate assistive technologies, or lack of educational opportunities to develop their digital skills.
The stakeholders of the ENTELIS network are persons with disabilities, older people, service providers, assistive technology experts and providers, educators, teachers, researchers and policy makers.
The ENTELIS network is driven by the members.
They refer to the network and this website for sharing their results, to learn from each other, to develop projects, tools and policy together and to raise awareness.
Above all they believe that only by bringing different stakeholder groups together and working for a common agenda, the digital divide can be bridged.
More information for developing this network can be found in the manifesto.
Other umbrella organisation are warmly invited to contact EASPD or AAATE to see how they can join and make the ENTELIS network an opportunity for their members as well.
